How we handle business and professional information, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: hello@persistdata.com.
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This is a plain-language policy covering how PersistData handles data. For any request about information relating to you, email hello@persistdata.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
PersistData is a data and enrichment service operated by RollDigital Inc., a California corporation ("PersistData", "we", "us"). We provide professional and company information to business customers ("Customers") for legitimate business purposes such as sales, recruiting, partnerships, and market research.
We focus on business-context information, not consumer profiles. The information we may process includes:
We do not seek to process sensitive or special-category personal data, government identifiers, financial account numbers, or data about children.
We compile information from publicly available professional sources and from vetted third-party data partners. We do not require you to connect, log into, or share your own LinkedIn or any other social-network account, and we do not collect data by signing into accounts on your behalf.
For individuals in the EEA and UK, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to provide business contact information to Customers for B2B purposes, balanced against the rights and interests of the individuals concerned. Where another basis is required, we rely on it. For California and other US residents, we act as a business and, where applicable, as a data broker.
We make information available through our API to Customers who agree, under our Terms, to use it only for lawful B2B purposes. We require Customers to honor opt-out and deletion requests and to maintain their own privacy practices. We do not sell consumer data for advertising, and we do not publish or post the data publicly.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email hello@persistdata.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (for example, GDPR and the CCPA). Once you ask us to suppress your information, we keep it on a do-not-process list so it is not reintroduced.
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, and we honor suppression requests on an ongoing basis.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where we qualify as a "data broker" under laws such as the California Delete Act or comparable state laws, we register as required and honor deletion requests submitted through the applicable mechanisms.
We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Our service is for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly process information about anyone under 16.
We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
